February 19-21 - CO TSA Technology Leadership EXPO - Denver Marriott DTC

• The Date: The conference has been moved to February 19-21, 2009.
• State Conference Theme: "TSA: Going Green" - This theme is only for the Colorado State conference and does not replace any published themes for contests.
• TSA Registration Deadline: See page 8 for deadlines; January 6, 2009 is the registration deadline for Nationals registration. Remember you must be registered with Nationals in order to compete at the State Conference!
• State Conference Registration Deadline: There will be NO onsite registration, changes or substitutions. This must all be done via the web site prior to the registration deadline. Payments must be received by February 1, 2009 or your chapter will not be able to compete.
• Emergency Contact Information: This year you are required to include a cell phone number when you register.
• The Hotel: Reservations must be made directly with the hotel by January 15, 2009.
• State Officer Applications: State officer applications are included with the packet; all eligible high school students are encouraged to apply. Please read the directions carefully. All forms must be returned by February 1, 2009.
• Judges: Please refer any and all business or industry partners who might be interested in being a judge to Tony Raymond, 720-858-2794. Judging students in these competitions is a rich and rewarding experience!
• Alumni: We are encouraging all alumni to sign up to help out with conferences.
• Deadlines: See page 8 for all important deadlines.
• Forms: All forms are included in the Call to Conference.
• Attire/Uniforms: Conference attendees must adhere to TSA attire guidelines. Please see the guidelines in the Call to Conference. Dress code violations will result in point deductions or disqualification from an event!
• Safety Glasses: There are several events that require safety glasses in order to compete. Please be sure all students are equipped with safety glasses. Please refer to the National and state Competitive Guide for more information.
